CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IN TEA SECTOR

TBK CEO Mr. Willy Mutai urges the newly elected tea factory directors to prioritize implementation of the reviewed Management Agreements, institutionalizing Performance Contracting in the tea factories' management, aligning the Articles of Association with both the Companies Act, 2015 and Tea Act, 2020, implementation of the tea industry Corporate Governance guidelines and promoting the tea quality improvement programme.
