Clearance of trees on the foot of CHERENGANI Hills to crate space for human settlement and agricultural production is gradually altering average weather condition and shift in the normalpatterns of climate among Trans Nzoia, West Pokot and Elgeyo MARAKWET living around the hills. Today, Tea Board of Kenya, Equity Bank Group Foundation, KTDA Foundation, KAPSARA Tea Factory and CHERENGANYI Sub County residents have embarked on planting trees in the region.
