Tea export volumes up 16% to 522.92 million kilos

Kenya earned 180.57 billion shillings from exporting 522.92 million kilos of tea last year. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua attributes the increased production to good rains experienced between April and December last year and distribution of subsidised fertiliser to the farmers.
